We’re pleased to share with you the schedule and resources from the 2016 Youth Philanthropy Connect International Conference. The conference was held July 7-9, 2016 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® in Anaheim, CA for youth philanthropists (ages 8-21) and the adults who support them. Our youth attendees researched, discussed, and presented grant proposals from local nonprofits. YPC is pleased to announce that full grants of $2,500 each were awarded to GOALS and OCCCO.

Service Projects: Paracord Bracelets, Building 3-D Printed Hands with Enable Community Foundation, and Helping Bags for the homeless

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Philanthropy is hard work and can contribute to the world in many ways! Together, we will split into teams to complete these 3 service projects in service to those across the world.

  • Build 3-D printed hands with Enable Community Foundation that will be sent to youth and adults across the world who need upper limb prosthetics.

  • Make paracord bracelets for soldiers oversees that will assist them with multiple feet of paracord--allowing makeshift solutions for emergency situations --and to let our service men and women know you care.  We will donate the bracelets to Operation Gratitude.

  • Compile helping bags for the homeless to support basic needs for people experiencing homelessness in Southern California.
